Saving Good Memories – Even in Tough Times

Travel in 2020 has all but ground to a halt. Despite little to no travel, Photo Gallery 3 remains a very useful app even when staying at home. Families across the world have found that they are no longer able to travel freely or go out with friends and family. This doesn’t mean that pictures won’t be taken. Despite the pandemic, more and more families are taking the opportunity to spend time with each other and using their phones to capture and record memories of time spent together. As a variety of families are now working at home, they are finding that the NAS they use to store work on also doubles as an excellent photo storage device, keeping their phones free of clutter and photos protected.

With each ASUSTOR NAS, a variety of protections are in place to keep photos safe. Use AiFoto 3’s automatic backup features to ensure that when safely at home on Wi-Fi, photos are backed up to the NAS automatically. With photos safely stored in an ASUSTOR NAS, hardware features like RAID add protection against drive failure. RAID uses multiple drives to store redundancy data across all of the drives in an array and, depending on the type of array, can suffer up to two drives failing with no data loss. Btrfs, a file system found in a variety of ASUSTOR NAS devices also helps protect against ransomware attacks and other unintentional modifications to photos, ensuring even more protection, ensuring that your ASUSTOR NAS is your center for good memories, even in tough times.
