To retain a Cloud ID on a new NAS, the Cloud ID on the old NAS must be deregistered so that it becomes available on the new NAS. A Cloud ID can only be tied to one NAS and if multiple NAS devices are used, a separate Cloud ID will need to be set for each NAS.
